Description

The Xentara EtherCAT driver uses a hierarchy of Xentara I/O components and I/O points, to represent the devices it communicates with. The Xentara EtherCAT driver uses the following components:

I/O components:

• Bus
• Device
• Module

I/O points:

• Entry

The Xentara EtherCAT driver also includes an information tool that can be used with an active EtherCAT network to obtain all of the data required to configure the Json file.
